Great Jura Crossings
If you enjoy active outdoor adventures, wide-open spaces, diverse landscapes, nature, and fresh air… then the Great Jura Crossings might be right up your alley!
As the name suggests, these “crossings” cover many kilometers across the entire Jura mountain range (referring to the Jura mountain range, not the department).
So, whether you’re riding a horse, lacing up your hiking boots, strapping on your snowshoes, hopping on your mountain bike or road bike, or putting on your cross-country or touring skis, you’ll find a route for each of these activities that will take you deep into wild landscapes, to meet the people who make this region what it is, and above all, to push yourself to the limit to rise to the challenge!
This association promotes and supports the development of tourism through these outdoor (non-motorized) hikes in the Franco-Swiss Jura Mountains.
The simple and very clear website helps and guides hikers in finding and planning their routes.

A Short Cycling Loop
The brand-new P’TITE GTJ VELO, launched in 2021 by @gtj.jura, connects the Haut-Doubs region with the Jura wine country.
This short loop (256 km, no less!) is sure to dazzle the brave cyclists who take it: lakes, enchanted forests, wild valleys, magical springs, majestic salt flats, lush vineyards… the list goes on!
